Bringing to life the frenetic fun of the farce, all twelve characters in the play whizz after each other in a cartoony style that pefectly reflects this high-jinks comedy gem.

It Runs in the Family, by Ray Cooney, was first performed in November 1987 at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre in Guildford with a cast that included John Quayle, Una Stubbs and Bill Pertwee. It moved to London in August 1992 with some of the same cast (Ray Cooney played Dr Hubert Bonney in both productions) plus new members including Sandra Dickinson and Windsor Davies. Ray Cooney, as well as being an admired actor, has written some of Britain's best-loved farces, including Run For Your Wife, Charlie Girl and Not Now Darling, among many others.
