Prices and licensing fees

Amateur theatre companies and performance schools

For small and amateur theatre productions I keep the fee at less than half that charged by most mainstream licensing agencies.

£35

For a single production run of up to 3,000 printed items (leaflets, posters, programmes, etc.) I charge just £35 (see currency converter for international fees). This often includes extra supporting artwork, if available, as well as the main image and/or poster template. If your show is bigger please contact me and we'll work something out.

This price includes reasonable digital use on your own website, including any web-ads, as well as use of the artwork on printed promotional materials. It cannot be used for merchandise (eg. t-shirts) - see below for details on a separate license agreement.

Schools, colleges and universities

For state-run and private schools (excluding performance schools) I have kept my fee as low as possible.

£20

For a single production run I charge just £20 (see currency converter for international fees). This often includes extra supporting artwork, if available, as well as the main image.

These prices include reasonable digital use on your school website as well as use of the artwork on printed promotional materials. It cannot be used for merchandise (eg. t-shirts) - see below for details on a separate license agreement.

Professional theatre and performance companies

If you wish to use my artwork for a professional production (ie. one where the actors are paid and/or a commercial profit is intended) then I still keep very reasonable and competitive rates.

£100

The fee will depend on the size of the venue and the length of the production run, but it is often somewhere between £100 - £150 for a finite run (see currency converter for international fees). Long-term or touring productions may be higher. Please contact me for a definitive quote.

Merchandising

£10

If you would like to use my artwork for any form of merchandise, eg. t-shirts, mugs, baseball caps, etc. (even if just for cast and crew), then for amateur companies and schools I will usually just ask for an extra £10 per product range to cover usage (see currency converter for international fees)..

For professional companies (ie. one where the actors are paid and/or a commercial profit is intended) Please contact me for a definitive quote.

Poster layout

You can make your own poster layout with a template and its graphic elements or I can do the layout for you. The fee will depend on the complexity, but as a guide, for amateur companies, it would be about an extra £15 for simple text layout, and £20 to customise the template's art with simple changes (eg. colours, layout, resizing, etc.).

In addition I can resize templates for various other uses, eg. leaflets, brochures, adverts, banners or tickets, etc. Please contact me for a definitive quote.
