I take data protection very seriously and will not share your email with anyone unless given permission to do so. If sending an email out to multiple people, I always BCC (blind carbon-copy) unless there is a very good reason for just using CC.

Have you received SPAM from garenewing?

In early 2006 my domain name was hijacked and used to send out spam emails. Although the sender looks as though it is from garenewing, the spammers have actually just used my domain name as a cover for the real sender to make it more difficult to track them - this is a common spamming technique, and thousands of innocent domains are used in this way. It is just as much trouble for me, as every day I have to delete all the undeliverable spams that get wrongly returned to my address.

If you send me an email complaining about spam, I'm afraid you are contacting the wrong person and there's nothing I can do about it (though I am looking into the problem). Never reply to spam as this can often be a way that spammers identify live addresses which they then sell on to other spammers.
