ADVENTURE COMICS WORKSHOP
Tue 20 Jul 2010

Here is the poster with more details of the Adventure Comics Workshop I'll be doing at East Grinstead Library on Tuesday 10 August, from 10-11.30 am. It's free, with tickets available directly from the library.

It's a bit of a warm-up for the one I'll be doing at the Edinburgh International Book Festival on Mon 23 August - which sold out within 12 hours of tickets gong on sale!

Going a little off topic here - but any idea if Rainbow Orchid will be making it over to the iPad in due course? Egmont, of course, have given away a free copy of Winnie the Pooh with every machine, so they seem sufficiently with it. And comics work brilliantly on it, I think - I'd know I'd gladly buy eBook versions for the train etc.

I definitely want to see RO on the iPad - it's just the right size for it, I think. So I'd say it's not a matter of if, but when!

Fantastic news! Though I've got the paperbacks, it's that kind of book I wouldn't mind buying again, if it means so much more portability - hard to take big albums about the place without damaging them. Hope they get it all formatted properly so it presents nicely - zoom-ins on individual panels and the like!

Exciting news on the workshop Garen! I know you will do very well! Looking forward to reading all about it.
