January always seems to kick off with something nice for Rainbow Orchid. After being linked to by Warren Ellis yesterday, I've also just read the latest Fool Britannia column to see Rainbow Orchid has been honoured as joint winner Fool Britannia Webcomic of the Year 2006 (with Gun Street Girl).
"The plot is like a Faberge Egg, beautiful to behold even at the most superficial glance, but so exquisitely intricate that the closer you look the more you see."
- Regie Rigby, Fool Britannia.

Great news on the award! Gun Street Girl's server seems to be overloaded on the strength of it, at the mo, so I can't tell if it features any Nazi monkeys...

Well done. Remember, more Rainbow Orchid means more awards, so keep working.

Well... it's not really an award, more a title - but a very nice one. Anyway, I'm an artiste, I don't care for awards! :-) And I'm surprised someone hasn't said the plot is more like a Fab-herge Egg. So I'll say it.
